I selected files with different types of challenges, allowing you to troubleshoot in new ways as you edit them. Working on my files will help stretch your knowledge in surprising ways—you’ll see what I did, how I did it, and work on replicating the steps I took, so you can achieve those results yourself. Completing this curriculum will help build your knowledge, muscle memory, intuition, and creative thought process, so you can more effectively edit your own images.
This set includes a total of five images with two different versions for each: an unedited copy (RAW or JPEG), and a DNG that contains all my edits. You will use those files alongside my seven-lesson learning plan, which provides a structured learning approach that will sharpen your senses, refine your understanding of the editing process, and help you learn how to see better.
Lessons 1–3 take approximately 1–2 hours each. Lessons 4–7 allow you to dive as deep as you want to go, providing many hours more of learning. This self-paced, independent learning opportunity complements my online and in-person workshops.

The DNG files were created with Lightroom Classic, and that application may be required to fully access all features. It is recommended that you have a working knowledge of Lightroom Classic.
